Dynamic graphs

Interactive graphs of discrete and continuous distributions (Author: Cristina Pardo García)

  • Probability distributions: Interactive graphs of the main discrete probability distributions (Binomial and Poisson) and continuous (Uniform, Exponential and Normal). Modify the values that take the parameters of the distributions and you will check how the shape of the distributions changes in their graphic representation.
  • Family of Normal distributions: Interactive graphs to see the family of Normal distributions. Change the parameters of mean and standard deviation to compare several normal distributions.
  • Poisson-Binomial Approximation: Interactive graphs to check the approximation of the Poisson distribution to the Binomial distribution when the number of trials (n) is large and the probability (p) is small.
