Integration of remote LABSERVER laboratories learning system for microcontrollers and industrial electronics

Starting date: 2011

Ending date: 2012

Objective:

Based on the results of the teaching innovation project of the year 2009-2011, the platform developed (both software and hardware) is intended to be used to add learning modules, that is to say, introducing new subjects or part of their contents so that the student can perform remotely experimental practices. In electronics, which is called experiment responds generally to electronic devices which are acted or configured, and subsequently analyze the result generated by the action or configuration commands, either through an image of the system (IP camera), or through controls that appear on the student's screen and present the results.

The final goal is to trace a learning way about each of the proposed topics, in this case the microcontroller and FPGA learning on one hand, and power electronics on the other. This training program should include the reasoned proposal of a series of practices that the student must complete in order to extend his knowledge on the subject. These practices must also generate information that is useful not only for the student but for the teacher who may collect it for each of the students, and may even be part of the student evaluation.
