Objective

The initial aim of innovative action was to integrate the two blocks developed previously with a third block of self-assessment and self-learning within the framework of AV.

Allowing that the change that occured to eliminate a hiring of an intern, a modification of the objectives of innovative action was proposed, because the activities of the trainee would be completely related to the achievement of the stages of the innovative action. In this way the project was redesigned as the creation of a tool that would automatically create databases of multiple-choice questions compatible with AV.

In this way, a Matlab library is developped and this library allow to create databases of questions, only by programming a function that solves the multiple-choice question created in the database. As en example, if we want a question that consists in calculating the real and imaginary parts of a complex number with polar coordinates, it is necesary to program a function to solve this problem and added a number of wrong answers from parameterized polar coordinates. Using this function and the library generated in this innovative educational project, we could get a database of 100 questions of this type, to program a random access via AV and the student will start with a different question every time he opens the questionnaire.

The developed Matlab functions library outputs a compressed file compatible with AV and contains the automatically generated questions database so that the upload process to AV is greatly simplified.

In addition to the library, 6 functions have been developed in order to obtain 6 types of questions related to the basics of TDS to create a questionnaire test and show the good working and the usability of the created library.
