IGOR GÓMEZ DOMÉNECH

Igor Gómez Doménech received the B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees in Physics from the University of Valencia in 2002, 2008, and 2013, respectively. His career includes collaboration with diverse public and private entities. Additionally, he has previously worked both in the private and public sectors. He is currently working as a PhD Researcher in the Thermal Remote Sensing Group, Earth Physics and Thermodynamics Department, Faculty of Physics, University of Valencia, and as an Associate Lecturer in the Environment and Earth Sciences Department, Faculty of Sciences, University of Alicante. His research interest and expertise includes the study of natural hazards and severe weather, mesoscale modeling, numerical weather prediction/forecasting, assimilation and integration of remote sensing data into mesoscale numerical weather prediction systems, model evaluation and development, High-performance Linux clustering and software development for environmental solutions.
