Next Saturday the 11th of September will take place the inauguration of the Second EAWOP Early Career Conference for Advanced Work and Organizational Psychology that will held at the International University of Gandia finishing the 17th of September. This Conference is organized by the European Association of Work and Organizational Psychology (EAWOP) and the IDOCAL (Research Institute of Personnel Psychology, Organizational Development and Quality of Working Life) of the University of Valencia (www.uv.es/~idocal).
In this conference will participate 37 postdoctoral researchers and as KN speakers will take part the professors Arnold B. Bakker (Erasmus University Rotterdam. The Netherlands), Remus Ilies (Michigan State University. USA), Martin Kleinman (University of Zurich. Switzerland), Vicente Gonzalez-Romá (University of Valencia. Spain), José Maria Peiró (University of Valencia. Spain), Rob Briner (Birkbeck University of London. UK) and Nik Chmiel (University of Chichester. UK). The researchers come from the Universities of Bologna (Italy), Guelph (Canada), Limerick (Ireland), Zagreb (Croatia), Leuven (Belgium), Zurich (Switzerland), Sheffield (UK), Babes-Bolyai (Romania), Jagiellonian (Poland), Wroctaw (Poland), Humboldt (Germany), Bremen (Germany), Goethe (Germany), Heidelberg (Germany), Linz (Austria), Jyväskylä (Finland), Aalto (Finland), Yeditepe (Turkey), Chemnitz University of Technology (Germany), Jaume I de Castelló, Miguel Hernández, València, Oberta de Calalunya, Zaragoza and Autónoma de Madrid. Moreover, researchers’ participants also come from institutions as the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (Bulgary), Warsaw School of Social Sciences and Humanities (Poland), Russian Academy of Education and the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal (Portugal).
In the program are included the presentation of several scientific works and work groups which have as objective to identify possible joint research topics and to promote the development of international networks of investigation.
EAWOP (http://www.eawop.org) is an association founded in 1991. Its mission is to promote and support the development and application of Work and Organisational Psychology in Europe and to facilitate links between scientists and practitioners working in this field across Europe
